I am a Finance Director with a career built on a strong foundation in accounting, having originally trained at a Top 10 firm of Chartered Accountants. Over more than 20 years, I have held senior roles including Finance Director, Chief Finance Officer, EMEA Planning and Accounting Manager, Head Office Accountant, and Divisional Controller. My experience spans multiple industries and company sizes—from large PLCs to medium and small enterprises—providing me with a broad, generalist perspective and a deep understanding of business operations at all levels.

My early career in a top Chartered Accountants firm provided extensive training in external audit, corporate tax, and company secretarial duties, while also honing my ability to partner effectively with Directors and senior management. This experience built my expertise in controls, compliance, corporate tax, and company governance—skills I have applied throughout my career to drive business performance.

I have worked across a wide spectrum of companies, including:

• EMEA head offices of multinational corporations

• UK groups with pan-European operations

This diversity has given me a 360° understanding of finance, from external audit and corporate headquarters to regional operations and frontline business activities.    

I have led Finance Functions at a regional level, developing and motivating both finance and non-finance teams. My work spans multi-cultural environments and cross-functional teams, enabling me to communicate persuasively, inspire action, and foster collaboration throughout organisations.
